Sometimes one country just isn't enough! Have you ever considered a beach and Safari holiday ?
We are very fortunate that one of our very experienced Travel Gurus- Jenny, has visited South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya several times, enjoying such amazing highlights as driving along the breathtaking Garden route in South Africa starting in the vibrant capital Capetown before taking in the delights along the way, of whale watching in Hermanus, wine tasting in Stellenbosch, riding an Ostrich in Oudsthoorn a fascinating region steeped in Dutch history, and visiting the lush Featherbed Nature reserve in Knysna, before spending a couple of days in the stunning beach resort of Plettenberg and finishing up at the famous multi award winning Shamwari game reserve. Also home to the Born Free Sanctuary.
Jenny has also stayed on the vast Madikwe game reserve where she saw a kill, which is very rare to observe at such close proximity, Jenny has also stayed at Sun City near Johannesburg twice and ridden an elephant at the resort’s Pilensberg game reserve !
A few years ago Jenny was invited on a Luxury safari to Tanzania visiting The Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater staying at the top of the range “And Beyond”luxury properties, but what made her trip so special was the migration had started in the Serengeti as the millions of Wilderbeest and Zebras make their way to Kenya in search of green vegetation, a journey which takes months to complete.Jenny has also done 2 Masai Mara safari’s in Kenya coupled with a beach stay in Zanzibar the first time and the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius the 2nd time. With more and more travellers, and in particular honeymooners looking for this amazing once in a lifetime experience, choosing multi-country holidays can be quite daunting, but it will be a trip that your will never fail to keep family and friends gripped, as you share your stories, no two days are ever the same.
Combining exciting adventures with romantic destinations and idyllic beaches. It is also a great way to spend a family holiday, ensuring fun, educational and cultural experiences with, perhaps, water sports and playing on the beach. Many retired couples like to travel to exciting and exotic places as a reward for all their years of hard work.
The continent of Africa with its very diverse countries, lends itself beautifully to a multi-country break. Wildlife enthusiasts can safari in Kenya where the parks are absolutely teeming with animals, or how about travelling to Zambia, Uganda or Rwanda and spend time with the gorillas, or perhaps relax on a white sand Mauritian beach or the beautiful island of Zanzibar, still steeped in so much history and served as a major trading port centuries ago
For those who would rather stay in one country, there are plenty of possibilities for twin-centre holidays. A safari in Kenya followed by a stay at a resort in Mombasa or Malindi or maybe a Tanzania safari followed by a few days at a breathtaking Zanzibar resort, this is just two of a host of combinations, The possibilities are endless! We are more than happy to give you some examples, but, of course, we can help tailor make your own perfect multi-country holiday
